Joining the North Down and Ards U3A gives you access to more than 100 groups, as well as opportunities for expanding your social circle and attending the entertaining monthly meetings. It is open to people who are retired or semi-retired (ie not in full-time employment). There is no age limit.
In normal circumstances you would be welcome to come along as a visitor to one of our monthly meetings, where you could meet current members and have any questions answered to help you decide whether North Down and Ards U3A is for you.
The annual membership subscription, usually due on 1 April, is £15.00 for a single person or £25.00 for two people living at the same address and must be renewed by 1 May.
Cheques should be crossed and made payable to North Down and Ards U3A.
Members of other U3A groups may join North Down and Ards U3A for a reduced fee.
As North Down & Ards U3A is a registered charity, it can recover tax on the membership subscription which has been paid by tax-paying members. If you are a tax payer, you can complete a Gift Aid form to allow the U3A to recover tax on your annual subscription. You should get a Gift Aid form with your application form, but you can also download a form from here.
