We also:
- run occasional short courses – First Aid, Fun with Maths etc.
- do Intergenerational things – reading with children, singing to older people
- organise lots of different social events from Quizzes to 60s Nights
- take part in U3A Regional events such as Quizzes, Bridge Congresses and Song Fests
- run Photographic Competitions and Art Exhibitions.
The Groups Development team is here to:
- Help set up and mentor new activity groups.
- Support our existing groups.
- Keep all groups posted about changes that may affect them.
- Deal with any enquiries our Group Leaders and Convenors may have.
We also keep the Directory up-to-date but can only do this with your help. E.g. when a leader or convenor changes or when a group ceases.
