Joining North Down and Ards U3A gives you access to more than 100 activity groups, as well as opportunities for expanding your social circle and attending the entertaining and informative monthly meetings.

U3A is open to people who are retired or semi-retired (i.e. not in full-time employment) and there are no upper or lower age limits.

If you are interested in joining, then the easiest way is to join online by following this link, and pay the annual subscription (£15 per person) by credit/debit card or by PayPal (if you have a PayPal account).

If you need help then you can see general instructions for online joining at this Beacon Help Page  (Beacon is the main system used by the wider U3A organisation), and you can also watch the video at the bottom of this page.

Alternatively you can download an APPLICATION FORM and follow the instructions on it by clicking HERE.
The initial subscription can then be paid by cheque, cash or BACS/Bank transfer.
Payment details can be found on the Application Form.

Gift Aid

As North Down & Ards U3A is a registered charity, it can recover tax on membership subscriptions paid by tax-paying members. If you are a taxpayer, you can complete a Gift Aid form to allow the U3A to recover tax on your annual subscription.  A Gift Aid form is available with the downloaded application form.
