Scramblers go out on the 4th Sunday in the month throughout the year. This group is for experienced walkers only and, for safety reasons, prospective members should join the Ramblers initially. Walks usually last a full day and are over rough terrain, usually in the Mournes.
NB: Participants should bring lunch, drink, waterproofs and spare warm clothing in a backpack and wear comfortable footwear, preferably boots (essential for many walks, especially in bad weather).
