Pilates is a series of exercises aimed at strengthening the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, developing body awareness, improving body alignment and increasing flexibility.
Many members are surprised by the benefits of participation, including relief for stiff backs, trapped nerves and general unlocking of joints.
If you are a complete beginner to Pilates, it would be advisable to join the classes at the beginning of the sessions in September and January. Currently no spaces are available.
NB: Members should wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat or towel to lie on.
