From time to time we decide on one or two general themes. For example, our current theme are Empire and well known local people / women and we ask willing members to contribute. Occasionally we also invite outside speakers or hold debates and group study sessions. We enjoy frequent outings and visits to places of interest. At Christmas we usually have a party. During Covid we have staged several talks, 'Show and Tell' sessions, quizzes and one socially-distanced local outing.
