Webmaster: The purpose of this message board is to enable the Committee, Interest Groups and Members to provide the North Down & Ards U3A membership with news, views and future events which would be of interest to the general membership. It should be noted that when providing such information that the member or group should be clearly identified in order that any queries may be directed to them. It should also be noted that the purpose of the Photographic page is to enable Interest Groups to submit either general or specific Group photographs for inclusion on the web site. These can be submitted by e-mail (individual photograph) or on CD (group photographs) as appropriate
The following Interest Groups:- Art, Beginners Bridge, Computers, Family History, Fun With Flowers, Gardening (all groups), Languages (Spanish, French, Italian and German), Social Duplicate Bridge, Table Tennis, Travel, Theatre. Walking and Creative Writing have a page specifically for their own use and can be accessed from the Activities Page by scrolling down and clicking on the specific Interest Group.
New Groups:
Ideas, suggestions and offers for groups will always be welcome. If enough
interest is shown for a group to be viable, we will attempt to find a convenor
and tutor/leader plus suitable premises. A time and day convenient to most
members of the group will then be agreed. When groups are over subscribed,
consider starting a second group.
